It’s wild how a black male character will be friendly towards people in canon and on the screen but the second he’s friendly with a white girl, white women in the fandom will make like a million posts about how he was flirting or trying to come on to the girl without her consent, blah blah blah.
But let a white male character actually like beat the shit out of the same white girl character on screen and they can psychoanalyze how every hit was a silent declaration of love or some shit.
The fucked up thing is that this wasn’t even what I was talking about specifically but it’s one of the biggest prime examples. Like it happens often enough that folks could just fill in the blank and that’s how fandom treats a black dude that has done literally nothing wrong.

All the comments on this post are super transphobic, so can we all focus on the fact that the real reason that Caitlyn Jenner is problematic trash is that she 1)straight up killed someone in her car at one point and got away with it and 2)supported Donald Trump and is an outspoken Republican in spite of the GOP stance on the LGBT+ community as a whole and trans women in particular.
If you’re looking for an LGBTQ charity to donate to this year, you could do worse than the LGBT Foundation in Manchester, who are currently under attack from the Mail on Sunday because they provide support (including chest binders) to trans young people.

What he’s asking is a leading question and sure, taking his ‘how can you say that’ out of context works well to make him seem like he supports Trump but that’s not how it was said in the interview. How it was said was to get her to continue to talk about why Trump is a racist

She then goes on to ELABORATE on how he uses dogwhistles and his reaction to Charlottesville (by calling Nazi’s fine people) so people who tune in to the interview can draw connections to what she’s saying as opposed to just reacting, like op did, to the exact words that are said.
I think too many people on here fail to realize that news, real news, isn’t done by just saying shit. You have to be able to back it up and in order to do so, you need to be able to spell something out for people who don’t get it. And someone who already has been criticized by people for her views (including by people on here, bizarrely, because they keep things she’s said out of context) need to be able to get all the information out there.
i feel like sometimes we focus so hard on what a content creator’s views/political beliefs are that we sometimes neglect to mention that the content they make sucks shit. so i’d like to just note. that after all the layers of antisemetic controversy. pewdiepie isnt funny he’s not funny hes the lele pons of gamer bros
